Why are schools inspected?

Ofsted checks how well schools are doing. To ensure children are safe, taught well and supported to do their best. Ofsted visits schools around every four years and we had our visit on the 6th and 7th of January 2026.

Inspectors check eight separate areas of our school as well as reporting what it is like to attend our school. We have summarised the findings below.

We are delighted with our report!

We are proud that Sacred Heart has been recognised, by Ofsted, for its inclusive culture, strong safeguarding and relentless focus on removing barriers so every pupil can thrive.
